Taylor Knox fell in love with black surfboards 20 years ago, when he saw a Larry Bertleman model in a surf shop. “I remember seeing it, going ‘oh my god, that’s the most beautiful surfboard I’ve ever seen,'” he said. “Ever since then, I’ve sorta collected ’em throughout my career. I love the way they contrast color.”
