Alex Gray River Surfing

"Lunch Counter Rapid" is a standing wave somewhere near Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where pro snowboarder Bryan Iguchi calls home. Something about the place appealed to Alex Gray, who doesn't do too well with sitting still during a California flat spell. Without knowing anything about Bryan, Wyoming or standing waves in general, Alex's good saltwater karma somehow trickled over into the freshwater realm, as the new friends scored Lunch Counter the best Bryan had ever seen it. Novelty wave this is -- but a wave nonetheless -- so you can't help but applaud Alex's resourcefulness. Video: Mike Nulty

BRETT BARLEY: FALL 2015

BRETT BARLEY: FALL 2015

Father. Husband. Friend. Christian. And an absolute friend when it comes to the hallowed hollows of his hometown beachbreaks. This was all shot in three days and there's no less than 13 tuberides. That's just the ones that were filmed, and kept. And this isn't even pumping Hatteras. This is just fun Hatteras. Check back this winter for pumping Hatteras.
