We would like to announce the addition of WCT #5 Bede Durbidge to the OAM international team!

February 1st, 2008: – San Clemente CA, On A Mission (OAM) is proud to announce that world number 5, WCT surfer, Bede Durbidge has been recruited to our global surf team. “Bede plays a key role in the progression of the On A Mission team and brand as we re-launch our new range into the Australian market this Easter,” announced Marketing Manager Dave Boehne. “We can’t wait to get started designing Bede’s signature traction and add his unique style and touches to all of our products!”
Bede burst back into the limelight last year winning the Billabong Pipeline Masters in high-performance conditions on Oahu’s North Shore. Bede, simultaneously captured the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing title for the best overall performance over the course of the North Shore winter. The combination win earned Bede over $75,000 in cash and prizes, the biggest single one-day haul in the history of professional surfing. Bede was also the first Australian to win the Triple Crown in over a decade.
Bede joins the legendary team consisting of Taylor Knox, Shane Dorian, Ross Williams, the Malloys, Benji Weatherly, Alex Gray, Nate Yeomans, Melanie Bartels, Torrey Meister and Pepper.
